By adopting an effective method of teaching with highly qualified faculty and skilled technicians, the Department of Mechanical Engineering brings innovation in every aspect of activity and develops the students into superior graduates in order to meet industrial needs by adopting an effective method of teaching. Industrial-oriented teaching and effective utilization of resources enable the students to achieve a goal in the domain of Mechanical Engineering. Product development strategy and industry connectivity within the department explore a new path in the current trends. The department offers an undergraduate programme in B.E. Mechanical Engineering with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The department has its own building, which houses state-of-the-art laboratories, a CAD/CAM centre with advanced software and a department library. It is a challenging, rewarding, and highly respected profession that is supported by experienced and expert faculty members with doctoral degrees, outstanding research publications in peer-reviewed international or national journals, and faculty research presentations at international conferences. Students have demonstrated technical presentation skills at international and national conferences and symposiums. An interactive relationship is maintained between the students and faculty, which enables the students to develop a sound foundation in the stream in a conducive environment. The students have access to state-of-the-art facilities in the areas of CNC machining, Automotive Engineering, and Industrial Engineering allowing them to meet the challenging needs of the industries.
To be the renowned hub of Excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering, where continuous learning, skilling and research symbiosis to deliver Mechanical Education and Scientific exploration for society goods.
